Gabriela Liebert
Gabriela Liebert (Gabriela L. Caicedo), was born in Quito, Ecuador. She is an architect, designer, hotelier, and developer who specializes in residential and hotel projects.
She and her husband, Kai Liebert, co-founded their Miami-based company to create distinct architectural projects in the United States, Ecuador, and Germany. Their firm is committed to sustainable building principles, high quality construction, and natural modern design.
Gabriela’s father, Hugo Caicedo Andino, was the premier visionary, first designer and builder of Quito’s Financial District. Her mother, Leonor Caicedo, was the interior designer for all of his projects, and co-founded their residential towers and hotels. Gabriela continues to work with their projects in Ecuador.
Gabriela graduated from Tulane University in 1994 with a Master’s Degree in architecture. She worked for The Rockwell Group in New York City and Arquitectonica in Miami. Later, she worked with Luminaire, where she broadened her knowledge of high-end European modern design and interior space planning. While living in Hamburg, Germany, she was a member and Director of the American Institute of Architects European Chapter.
