For me, architectural design is only worth the effort if the project gets built here and now, which is why I specialize in architectural design and real estate development. Up until now I have focused on projects where my company is the overall decision maker. We function best when we have control from purchase of the land, all the way to the end of construction.

Which Came First? The International Spy Museum, in Washington, DC has a section dedicated to the question: Which came first, the spy gadgets we see in the movies or the actual spy gadgets? This next question moves us a little closer to our topic: Which came first, the image of rockets and spaceships, or the actual rockets and spaceships? Our topic actually applies to architecture: Did space age design, or space age technology come first?

The names we ascribe to things are powerful. In today’s AI world, we can see how each word feeds a seemingly invisible algorithm. Before we look at the interior design and aesthetics of living rooms and family rooms, let’s discuss what I mean when I use the words Living and Family.
